EMILY BOND

Emily Bond has over a decade of experience in the fields of literary publicity, social media and editorial writing. She began her career with PR by the Book in 2010 and quickly became a creative force for book launches, social media reach and unique book tour experiences. In 2011, she moved with her husband to Washington D.C. and became the editor for two architectural journals, while continuing to freelance as a writer for various online and print publications: Eater.com, Original Productions, Pitchfork, Texas Lifestyle Magazine, Energy Leaders Today, Travel Age West and more.

In 2019, she became the Communications Director for a consulting firm and led a complete revamp of their online content, while rigorously raising their LinkedIn influence. She also continued to work as a social media and traditional outreach publicist for various clients, securing national and local media. She has returned to PR by the Book and to her favorite role as a literary publicist. Emily is a native Texan and a University of Houston alumni. She resides in Texas with her husband and two children along with their rescue dog Coconut. If she isn’t reading, it’s likely she’s eating.
