ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Carol Seymour is a sought after business leader and catalyst for growth. As an executive advisor to businesses and executives around the globe, she has a passion for helping leaders perform at maximum potential in their professions and lives. She founded Signature Leaders in 2013 and now runs multiple leadership-focused offerings, including The Signature Program – a unique development initiative and peer network for more than 300 women executives in the Fortune 1000. Today, more than 70 market-leading companies use The Signature Program for investing in their key talent.
Carol has led critical transformations, product/service innovations, and fast track turnarounds in large cap companies, startups and private-equity backed organizations. Chief Marketing and Commercial roles at Accenture, Spherion, MeadWestvaco, and DBM led her to build World50, the world’s premier senior executive networking organization. She launched six C-suite private memberships as she grew World50. Prior to starting Signature Leaders, she was a managing director of G100, a private CEO network for 200 CEO’s globally, and founder of G100 Inside, which created CEO strategy and leadership development programs for top executives.
Over the past decade, Carol has interviewed more than 1000 C-suite executives for their leadership insights. She has orchestrated executive discussions among some of the world’s most acclaimed leaders and CEOs. Several of her highlighted interviews include Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat just two days after Chrysler paid off their government debt, and Hugh Grant, CEO of Monsanto and CEO of the Year. She has also facilitated discussions with Condoleezza Rice, Greg Norman, Fred Smith, Paul Azinger, and Doris Kearns Goodwin among others, extracting high-impact ideas for executives to action in their own organizations.
Carol frequently speaks at female networks and industry association gatherings, such as NAPCO, CoreNet, and the California Women’s Banking Association. She has also helped a number of companies structure their leadership meetings and has acted as facilitator/interviewer for the events. She facilitated Avery Dennison’s Top 200 event and Walmart’s Executive Women forum.
As a result of the rich wisdom and leadership stories shared through the Signature Leaders programs, Carol enrolled more than 70 top executives to contribute their wisdom in a collective book called Wisdom Warriors (January 2017).
She is also a Founding Member of Paradigm for ParitySM – a movement of CEOs, senior executives, board members, and business academics committed to achieving gender parity at the senior levels of all major corporations by 2030.
