WHO IS SHE?
Lily Isaacs is a vocalist and matriarch of the world-renowned and award-winning country and bluegrass gospel group, The Isaacs (includes son Ben and daughters Sonya and Becky). Born in Germany after World War II to two Polish Jewish Holocaust survivors, she moved to the United States when she was 2 years old. She grew up in the Bronx, NY, studying theatre and performing on Off Broadway. She became a Christian in 1971 and soon after, began singing Christian music and laying the foundation upon which the Isaacs’ ministry would be built. Also a 30-year breast cancer survivor.

WHO ARE THE ISAACS?
The Isaacs are a multi-award winning family country and bluegrass gospel group who began performing 30+ years ago and are based in Nashville, TN . The vocalists are Lily Isaacs, Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. Playing their own acoustic instruments and joined by other band members, The Isaacs have a unique style that blends tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to a variety of audiences. Their musical influences emerge from all genres of music including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, and country, contemporary acoustic and southern gospel. They perform frequently at the Grand Ole Opry, have performed at Carnegie Hall and are active members on the Gaither Homecoming Videos and Concert Series and travel throughout the year, performing around the world in places like South Africa, Norway, Holland, Scotland, Ireland, Israel, among others.
