ABOUT THE BOOK
Kester Lanner didn’t know what to expect when he followed his mother’s dying request to contact the mysterious Dr. Ribero, but he wasn’t expecting to find his long-lost father. Nor was he expecting to join the family business: catching supernatural spirits.
Kester is intrigued despite his fear, and finds himself drawn into an ancient ghost story that will test the entire agency. An old diary tells the chilling story of a portrait haunted by an old and cunning spirit.
Kester soon becomes enmeshed in a struggle with the spirit, who is so malevolent and haunting that his first real case might just be his last.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Lucy Banks has enjoyed worlds of her own creation from a young age. While her initial creations were somewhat dubious, her writing grew as she did, improving with time. Writing has been a lifelong exercise for Lucy, and she loves the process from the beginning inklings of an idea to the care spent editing to craft interesting tales. The odd, the jarring, and the curious are often transposed with mundane reality in her stories.
In reality, Lucy lives in Devon with her husband and two children. She immerses herself in the wild, rural landscapes and loves seeking out hidden locations. She is more of a book-python than a bookworm, devouring at least one novel a week. She loves the written word so much that even her day job involves writing and editing.
