Samantha, a native New Yorker, has a passion for exploring book collections in bookstores and libraries—an enthusiasm that makes her a valuable addition to the PR by the Book team. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a focus in Creative Writing, as well as a Publishing Certificate, from CUNY’s City College of New York. Throughout her career, Samantha has nurtured her love of reading through internships with publishers like Simon & Schuster, Penguin Random House, and Penguin Audio. She also freelanced as a blogger for an award-winning, women-owned magazine, where she contributed creative and insightful content to a global audience.

More recently, Samantha has applied her diverse skill set to support operational and administrative functions in the charter school sector. She is excited to bring her experience and creativity to the PRbTB team as she embarks on her next professional chapter.
