Why should the entertainment world take an interest in your book on Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight?
In 2024, it was announced that director Quentin Tarantino had scrapped his plans for filming The Movie Critic, which reportedly would have served as the final motion picture of his career.

But now, movie fans have an opportunity to be awed by a dramatically transformed viewing experience when it comes to Tarantino’s “eighth film,” the magnificent 2015 mystery-thriller The Hateful Eight!

Our transformed viewing experience revolves around the main character Major Marquis Warren, played by the one and only Samuel L. Jackson, who is arguably the most iconic leading man in all of Tarantino’s cinema.

By exploring a wealth of solid evidence, we discover that from the film’s very beginning, Major Warren has been secretly pursuing a deadly mission: the death of the notorious Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Bruce Dern).

What led you to write your book on The Dark Knight Rises?
The Dark Knight Rises is Christopher Nolan’s ultimate “puzzle film;” it concludes the iconic Dark Knight trilogy by posing a sharp paradox to moviegoers. This paradox consists of two seemingly contradictory moments involving central protagonist Bruce Wayne and his alter ego Batman. For too long, fans have had to live with some highly unsatisfactory ways of explaining this apparent paradox.

My book Nolanverse is a sorely-needed breath of fresh air, making the case for a whole new explanation. Compiling a wide range of compelling evidence focused on the filmography of Christopher Nolan and his co-screenwriter Jonathan Nolan, it challenges readers to boldly rethink numerous plot details throughout the film. In the end, we’ll be able to conclude that the Academy Award-winning director has pulled off perhaps the greatest whopper of an illusion in cinematic history.
