DEBBIE LYKINS

Debbie Lykins fell in love with books as a child. She spent hours with the likes of Ramona Quimby, SuperFudge, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and many others, and as an adult, her passion for books and the written word has remained. She believes books change lives.

With a master’s degree in communications, Debbie’s career in publishing has spanned more than two decades, including serving as a senior publicist at one of the world’s largest Christian publishers and as an established freelancer managing numerous publicity campaigns for authors and publishers.

She has been honored to work on campaigns for authors such as Mitch Albom (NY Times bestselling author), Gary Chapman (creator of The Five Love Languages), Lisa Whelchel (actress), Pat Williams (VP, Orlando Magic), David Platt (NY Times bestselling author), Ira Wagler (NY Times bestselling author), Kirk Cameron (actor) and more. Before joining the publishing industry, she worked in marketing, corporate communications, and public relations.

A Chicago area native (and always loyal Cubs fan), Debbie, her husband, and three teenagers now live in the northwest suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She enjoys reading, cheering on her kids sports, finding deals, and researching everything.
