In her picture book debut, author Becky Bell takes young readers into the magical, whimsical world of Fibberton. Much like Aesop’s fables, The Gnomes of Fibberton is a story about a faraway place where mysterious gnomes keep track of the lies, half-truths, and tall tales of the children throughout the world. 

In the hidden world of Fibberton, a story unfolds about the importance of being honest and how even a small lie can cause big problems, teaching kids why it’s important to always tell the truth. Just like Aesop’s fables taught lessons long ago, this book helps young readers understand why honesty matters in a fun and magical way.

As an added bonus, the book includes a QR code that will direct young readers and their parents to a fun song recorded by the gnomes themselves!

Becky Bell embodies the essence of dedication, nurturing, and strong moral values. A devoted mother to three young children, she embraces the rewarding challenge of homeschooling, guiding her children through their formative years with care and wisdom.

Celebrating twenty years of marriage, Becky has cultivated a family life rooted in love and partnership. Her active involvement in various homeschooling groups reflects her commitment to educational excellence and community engagement.

Becky is deeply integrated into her church community, living out the Christian virtues of faith, forgiveness, charity, and service. Her life’s work is a testament to her belief in the power of faith and family, and her writings often draw from these rich experiences, offering inspiration and guidance to her readers. 

Becky also served as an HR director/business administrator for a decade and volunteered as an American Sign Language interpreter for several years in her church. 

She and her family live in Virginia.
