Melissa Teutsch has worked in the publishing industry for almost 15 years where she led publicity for the Howard Books imprint of Simon & Schuster before serving as Sales & Marketing Director for an academic press. During her tenure in publishing, she worked on a variety of media campaigns, helping to put several titles on the New York Times Bestseller List and was also involved in all aspects of publishing, including copyediting, sales, marketing, publicity, event planning, distribution, and business management. Most recently, Melissa has worked in management in the college bookstore industry, honing her business, client, and project management skills.

A native of Louisiana, Melissa enjoys hiking, reading, baking, dabbling in home improvement on her 105-year-old home, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
